riotous eaters

Proverbs 23:20-21 “Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.”

23:2 “And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.”

28:7 “Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father.”

Ecclesiasticus or the Wisdom of Sirach 37:27-31 “My son, prove thy soul in thy life, and see what is evil for it, and give not that unto it. For all things are not profitable for all men, neither hath every soul pleasure in every thing. Be not unsatiable (do not over eat) in any dainty thing, nor too greedy upon meats: For excess of meats bringeth sickness, and surfeiting will turn into choler (nausea). By surfeiting (gorging) have many perished; but he that taketh heed prolongeth his life.”
